This is a service that allows foreign tourists to experience the good old days of "Showa schools", one of the hidden charms of Japanese culture, at our abandoned school campground, CAMPiece Kimitsu (Kimitsu City, Chiba). A certain rural town in Japan, the era is Showa... Enroll for one day at a school nestled in a rural landscape surrounded by nature. A “homeroom teacher” will actually teach the class in the classroom. Participants wear school uniforms and sailor uniforms. It starts with the entrance ceremony, morning homeroom, day shift, calligraphy and history classes, school lunch, sports day, and finally the graduation ceremony where the students receive their diplomas. [Vegetable harvesting + farm lunch experience] - Experience real agriculture in a casual setting! - [Agricultural experience] Experience agriculture at Scoop Farm, which is committed to organic farming. This experience takes place in a tranquil setting that is sometimes used for filming TV dramas and promotional videos. You will get a taste of the actual farm work for about 10-15 minutes, focusing on the tasks that cannot be mechanized. In addition to spreading compost, picking up tree roots, removing weeds, and preparing the soil to revive abandoned farmland to its former Satoyama form, you will also do a wide range of tasks, including watering to prevent drought, sowing seeds and planting seedlings, and shipping products. You will experience farm work by focusing on "what is actually being done" rather than "an experience prepared for the experience." After participating a few times, you may be able to become a farmer yourself. - [Harvesting experience] Try harvesting seasonal vegetables!
