Try your hand at making an authentic parquet keychain by cutting and gluing parquet blocks that make use of the natural wood color! Wood comes in a variety of colors, from brown, red, yellow, and even purple. The parquet block bars that form the basis of parquet work are made in advance by instructor Matsuura. You cut them with a craftsman's saw and combine them to make hearts, leaves, and any other shape you like. Once firmly glued together, polish them with sandpaper and finish with oil to complete the piece. Instructor Matsuura of Studio Kaede is a talented artist who won the top prize at the Dobi Exhibition in 2019. He will kindly teach even beginners the authentic craftsmanship!

Assemble a frame using wood from Hokkaido and assemble 20 types of wood parts in your favorite combination to create your own original photo frame! You can make a photo frame to your liking. The instructor, Matsuura from Kobo Kaede, is a skilled craftsman who won the Hokkaido Governor's Award, the highest award at the Hokkaido Art Exhibition. He has many years of workshop experience, so even beginners can create fun and long-lasting works. Perfect for independent research during long holidays. Or as a photo frame to put special photos in. With the advice of an instructor, you can freely arrange seasonal flowers from the surrounding area in a special box set with absorbent sponges. It's fun! Naganuma Town is famous for its rice and vegetable production, but in fact there are many wonderful flower producers. So Maoi, a flower shop that fell in love with the flowers of Naganuma Town, moved from Sapporo to the town. Their outstanding flower arranging sense has attracted the attention of various industries, and they were even entrusted with the flowers for the opening of a certain luxury hotel on the shores of Lake Shikotsu that recently opened. Naganuma Town is about an hour's drive from Sapporo, and you can experience the finishing touches of the traditional craft "Wakasa chopsticks"! The final step in making Wakasa chopsticks is polishing. Colorful painted patterns and mother-of-pearl appear on the black lacquered chopsticks.
