Up to 15 people can experience the experience in the workshop. The experience will be held in a home workshop. When you enter the room, the scent of wood fills the air... that alone will relax your mind! Concentrating on making chopsticks will refresh your mind and body! This is an experience that satisfies all five senses with the fresh air, water, and light of Azumino. If you can draw, you can do it, so even small children can experience it. Your child's drawings and letters can be engraved as they are, so if you create one every year on their birthday, it will be a memento of their growth! Draw a rough sketch with a pencil, thicken it with a marker, and then engrave it with a laser engraving machine to turn it into an original piece! A memento of your trip! You can also create a commemorative item for someone important to you!

I loved having a special morning at the studio. I was picked up at the station and driven to the studio. The teacher had everything set up and he explained what we were doing today. He was very kind and approachable. He even played me music and we chatted while making pottery. After I had the chance to check out the studio shop and bought beautiful pieces. He will be glazing and finishing the pieces himself and will ship them to me. I couldn’t have had a better experience. It’s such a lovely place and afterwards he dropped me at the Giant Buddha temple. Very nice and will be recommending!

For calligraphy, you choose your favorite words, characters, or the name of a place that you remember from your travels, and choose your favorite characters, words, and font from several samples. While looking at the sample, the customer writes with a brush. Even beginners can learn to use a brush with a little practice. Seal carving uses a special rubber stamp. It is safe and easy to create. The design is basically your name, but you can choose any shape or object. You can use the seal as a seal for your work in your daily life, on your art work, or on your letters. The calligrapher will help you with how to use it and the design, so you can participate with peace of mind. If necessary, we will give you a simple lecture in Japanese to help you deepen your understanding of characters and words. Enjoy a time of meditation surrounded by the scent of ink and a time to calm your mind and create art. <Optional options/charges apply> ● Hanging scroll and frame for displaying your work ● Apron (Japanese-style apron) to protect your clothes from ink ● Create a souvenir just for you A calligrapher will create an art work according to your request. <Supported languages> A translator will be used.
