Since it's a rare opportunity, why not try to experience a little bit of Kanazawa's traditional culture and have an experience that can only be had at that time. If you try making kimono scrap art, you don't have to worry about that at all! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------＜What is kimono scrap art making?＞This is an experience where you carefully unravel kimonos that can no longer be worn due to holes caused by burning or stains that won't come off, and use small pieces of kimono scraps to paste them onto stencils to create a one-of-a-kind art piece. We have a variety of stencils unique to Kanazawa, such as the Tsuzumimon Gate at Kanazawa Station, the Kotoji lantern at Kenrokuen, and Kanazawa Castle, so please choose your favorite one! There are also easy stencils such as dinosaurs and flowers for children. Anyone can easily get started. It's interesting that even with the same pattern, the kimono scraps used can make a variety of different works! Choose your favorite pattern, cut the scraps with scissors and paste them with glue. There is no answer to art! Some people create bold works, others delicate ones! You can experience the experience while chatting with friendly staff in a homely atmosphere, giving advice on recommended color combinations!
