This is a pearl extraction experience at a pearl farm in Ise-Shima, the birthplace of pearl farming.It's fun to extract the pearls and see what kind of pearls will come out! Pearls come in a variety of sizes, shapes, and colors. You can take out Akoya pearls with a diameter of 6 mm, and if you are lucky, 8 mm in diameter! You can take the removed pearls home with you. You can also make accessories using the pearls. Let's make your own accessories such as pendants, earrings, rings, straps, etc. ♪ (separate fee will be charged) ~ Experience process ~ ① Gathering and reception ② Explanation ③ Pearl extraction experience / Flow of how pearls are made Please watch the DVD.・You will be asked to take a commemorative photo on the raft holding a net containing pearl oysters (in case of rain, the photo will be taken indoors).・Choose your favorite pearl oyster from the net.・Pearls will be extracted from Akoya oysters. - Polish the pearls with salt and cloth. We will measure the size of your pearl. ④If you would like to make accessories, you can choose the metal fittings. (Additional charge) - Our staff will pierce the pearl. Those in the upper grades of elementary school who wish to do so will be able to try their hand at gluing. ⑤ Completed in about 15 minutes after gluing! You can take it home as is.
