Recently, it has been arranged into Japanese modern accessories and interior goods. In this course, you will learn the basic awaji knot and plum knot, and combine it with your favorite Japanese paper to make an original bag.

"GEISHA BOY" is a geisha transformation experience plan supervised by Takafuji Ukon, the second generation of Takafuji School of Creative Japanese Dance, who is also active on the world stage as a female impersonator. Members of Asakusa Ukonya, a professional dance group led by Ukon, will transform you into a wonderful female impersonator. In addition to authentic costumes, we will help you create your own work, from the initial meeting to the photo shoot in a private space that requires a reservation. Our ancestors were shinobi samurai who started to serve Tokugawa Ieyasu (the first shogun of the Tokugawa Shogunate) in 1582. The clan served the shogunate for 265 years. In 1868, the clan declined the invitation from the Meiji Government and became independent. We are the only lasting shinobi clan in Japan. We invite you to come to our clan dojo where real master practitioner and professional interpreters take charge of all workshops and seminars. This is good for people who want to get a deeper insight into our ninja and samurai cultures . We still handcraft our tools and weapons. Feel free to ask any questions as we have kept our shinobi samurai tradition for over 450 years.Our ancestors trained locals and their servants to be shinobi.(Ninja is a new word used in movies. Shinobi is the word which was commonly used in the feudal times,)The term "shinobi samurai" is not well-known, but you can be one of the few who knows the history and shinobi philosophy and mindsets. The shinobi samurai trained ninjas and lead ninjas as their mastermind.You will wear a ninja outfit to learn ninja techniques and learn samurai sword techniques and manners in samurai garb.

In Asakusa, a town that suits kimonos, you can take pictures with luxurious furisodes, gorgeous kimonos, and candy! Shooting will be completed in about 30 minutes per person, so feel free to experience it. Enjoy the elegant kimono culture and matcha experience in Asakusa. Immerse yourself in the elegant kimono culture and traditions of Asakusa, Tokyo's oldest district. Choose from a variety of kimono styles and, as an added option, enjoy a professional photo shoot in the beautiful backstreets near the iconic Sensoji Temple. Upgrades such as furisode, houmongi, crested hakama, and lace kimono can be made on the day on site, so please ask our staff. You will also enjoy the unique taste of matcha, a Japanese green tea, and learn the correct way to drink it according to the Japanese tea ceremony tradition. Visit Kimono Rental Shop Yui, a 4-minute walk from Asakusa Station and a 2-minute walk from Kaminarimon. Choose from a wide range of kimonos and summer yukatas suitable for various occasions. Once you're dressed, our staff will provide you with a hairstyle and colorful accessories that suit you. Footwear (Japanese wooden sandals, geta) and a traditional handbag complete the dressing experience. Kimono Rental Shop Yui offers a wide range of kimonos, from easy-to-wear light kimonos for walking around the city to traditionally made silk kimonos for formal occasions. The experience will be complemented by a short lesson on how to drink matcha tea according to Japanese tradition. For the rest of the day, feel free to wander the beautiful streets of the Asakusa district at your own pace until 5:30 PM, when you will return your kimono. If you choose the photo shoot option, a professional photographer will accompany you and show you the most photogenic spots around Sensoji Temple and the Sumida River. The session will last 60 minutes, and your photos will be sent to you for editing and download within a week.
