This is a calligraphy experience focusing on kanji. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced calligrapher, you can create memories of your trip by performing calligraphy on a wall (2m long x 3m wide), which you can't usually write on. Experience the wabi-sabi that disappears in 15 minutes. It is a Japanese-style room with tatami mats, but you can choose to practice on calligraphy paper at a Terakoya desk and chair while sitting upright. Our ancestors were shinobi samurai who started to serve Tokugawa Ieyasu (the first shogun of the Tokugawa Shogunate) in 1582. The clan served the shogunate for 265 years. In 1868, the clan declined the invitation from the Meiji Government and became independent. We are the only lasting shinobi clan in Japan. We invite you to come to our clan dojo where real master practitioner and professional interpreters take charge of all workshops and seminars. This is good for people who want to get a deeper insight into our ninja and samurai cultures . We still handcraft our tools and weapons. Feel free to ask any questions as we have kept our shinobi samurai tradition for over 450 years.Our ancestors trained locals and their servants to be shinobi.(Ninja is a new word used in movies. This class incorporates traditional gold lacquering techniques, but is a shortened version that anyone can easily enjoy. You can have a unique experience of using the gold lacquer technique to repair broken vessels and other broken items and breathe new life into them. "Simple gold lacquer" is perfect for travelers with limited time, and even beginners can participate with confidence. By decorating the broken parts as "scenery", you can create original works full of personality. Fish (Iyu) or Shisa Urushi Painting Plan This plan allows you to paint your favorite lacquer painting on Yachimun parts. You can choose from the following two shapes. a. Fish (Iyu) Course: Paint your favorite pattern on a fish-shaped Yachimun. You can either copy the sample pattern or paint your own favorite pattern! It is also recommended as a keepsake or gift with a name and date. Once completed, you can take it home as a magnet or strap. b. Shisa Plan: Paint your favorite lacquer painting on a Shisa-shaped Yachimun. You can paint not only Shisa (female and male), but also dogs, cats, frogs, bears, and other animals you like. Once completed, you can take it home as a magnet, strap, or brooch (badge).
