Tsuyama Castle, which boasts over 100,000 visitors at the Tsuyama Cherry Blossom Festival and Tsuyama Castle Momiji Festival, was specially rented out to host the first ever Tsuyama Castle Dinner (cultural experience, historical lecture, and dinner party). Keiji Takeuchi, who has been awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand for 10 consecutive years, and Teruyoshi Saito, owner and chef of the French restaurant Hortensia, created a special menu for this dinner party using local ingredients. In addition to providing local foods such as Tsuyama's meat-eating culture (Tsuyama Wagyu beef), the event will also feature hospitality from the Sengoku period military commanders, including the first lord of Tsuyama Castle, Tadamasa Mori, as well as traditional Japanese dance and fireworks, making for a special event.

A "Setouchi Premium Dinner" will be served by two Michelin chefs, using plenty of Setouchi ingredients, mainly seafood, at the "Nakazaki Family Residence Main Building," a nationally registered tangible cultural property completed around 1917. There will also be an explanation of the history, culture, and origins of swords, including the unique Japanese values hidden in Japanese swords as works of art, and an opportunity to actually hold and appreciate a real sword.

This plan includes a special dinner prepared by the chef of the restaurant "serenblue," which opened in Tsuyama in February 2024, amid the natural surroundings of the Kaminoyama rice terraces that spread across the Oashi Plateau at an altitude of 550m in Mimasaka City. You can enjoy art, food, and culture in the northern part of Okayama Prefecture, which is the venue for the Forest Art Festival. A Forest Art Festival viewing passport is included.
