This course takes you all around the Kushiro Marsh, the 28th national park established and the largest naturally rich low-lying marsh in Japan with the largest horizontal extent. View the Kushiro Marsh from the eastern (western) observation deck, then walk along an unpaved road to the western (eastern) observation deck. If you are confident in your time and stamina, there are also some places you can walk (or climb?) to see, such as the Kottaro Marsh Observation Deck, Sarubo Observation Deck, and Yumegaoka Observation Deck. Along the way, you might encounter red-crowned cranes, Ezo deer, or Ezo red foxes (which appear irregularly).

We will observe red-crowned cranes at feeding stations in Tsurui Village. In addition, we will introduce you to Tsurui Village and other wonderful winter scenery tailored to your time. While on the move, you can spend a relaxing time enjoying the scenery typical of eastern Hokkaido. You can also combine canoe tours and snowshoe tours. Please inquire when making a reservation.

■Winter-only hot air balloon free flightUnlike "tethering" where you are fixed with a rope, you can experience "hot air balloon free flight" where you fly in the northern sky at the mercy of the wind. Hot air balloons do not have any engines or other power sources, and take off only with the buoyancy of the air heated by the burner. When the burner is not in use, you can experience a silent world, a mysterious walk in the sky without sound. Why not experience a special time in winter in Okhotsk that you cannot experience in your daily life?Hot air balloon free flights are available for one person or more. The fee is 30,500 yen per person. *However, if you are a single person, the fee will be 8,800 yen extra. There is a free shuttle from the nearest station to the meeting place (Kiyosato Ihatov Hostel), JR Senmo Line, and Kiyosato-cho Station. *Please note that there is a limit to the number of participants, so depending on the timing of your application, we may not be able to accept your application due to full capacity.
