This plan allows you to experience making authentic soba noodles with tempura. The experience takes place in a bright, purely Japanese-style restaurant. The soba-making experience at Kannon-tei starts with grinding the noodles in a stone mill. As the mill turns, the mouthwatering aroma of soba noodles begins to waft through the air. By the time you cut the dough into even pieces, you may be feeling hungry! Taste the finished soba noodles together while sharing your thoughts about the experience. If you make the soba yourself, it will taste even better.
Teacher is very patient and kind. She guided us step by step although we do not speak any Japanese. Great bonding for the family. We have lots of fun. Plentiful of Soba so beware if you want to add more food to your selection. 5 star!!

A log house near Amagi-goe - Joren Falls in the middle of Izu is a landmark. This is a plan where you can experience making pizza in a handmade stone oven (geo kiln) made from lava (scoria) from a volcano (Mt. Hachikubo). Stretch out the fermented pizza dough and add any toppings you like with fresh local ingredients. If you put it in a stone oven at about 300 degrees, piping hot pizza will be ready in about 3 to 4 minutes. In addition, for customers who make reservations for 6 or more people, we will be happy to provide you with a Dutch oven "1 steamed young chicken"! *If you are a group of 6 or more people, please apply from the group-only option.
