The charm of the Shimanto River is that rapids and gentle currents alternate. If you want to ride the current of the Shimanto River and go down the river, we recommend the River SUP experience. Go on an adventure down the Shimanto River while looking at the "submerged bridge" that is synonymous with the Shimanto River and the beautiful river scenery that cannot be seen from the road! It is a course of about 6 km starting from the submerged bridge and returning to Mishima Campsite in half a day, tackling two rapids. Before departure, SIJ and SUPA certified instructors will give a thorough lecture on the basics of SUP and river safety.
