朝7:30から参加しました。 天気が心配でしたが無事晴れて、貸切状態のポロト湖は静かで鳥の声がして、朝日が輝く中でのカヌー体験は格別でした！ 湖の向こうにウポポイが見えて絶好のロケーションです。紅葉も色づき始めで10月の澄んで冷たい風がとても心地よかったです。 ガイドの原田さんは気さくでユーモアがあり、途中風が強くなってもカヌーを上手に操っていて安心感がありました。 何より植物や動物や土地の特性、アイヌ文化の知識が豊かで、聞いていてとてもためになり湖を一周する間とても楽しく過ごせました。 途中、風を防げるところでミルクティー（他の飲み物もあり）を頂いて体が温まってほっとします。木のティーカップが可愛かったです。 ウポポイだけではない白老の素敵な楽しみ方だと思います。 また参加したいですし、千歳川のカヌーツアーもぜひ行ってみたいです。
