Why don't you experience Japanese traditional culture "calligraphy"? A 3-minute walk from Shimbashi Station and within walking distance from Ginza! The tools are prepared here, so you can come empty-handed. You can experience it even by yourself. Learn about kanji, the history of calligraphy, and tools, and try writing your favorite characters with a brush and ink. This is an experiential tour where you will experience calligraphy, one of Japan's proud artistic cultures, and create two works of art. Each participant will receive a piece of work created by our instructor. Original and not a print. The type to display on your desk comes with a frame as shown in the photo. Larger types are available only in kind. You will practice how to hold a brush, basic vertical lines, horizontal lines, sweeps, dots, etc., and we will create two works of art that you can display in your home. One will be a large piece to hang on the wall, and one will be a small piece to hang on a desk or table. The instructor is a master calligrapher and professional calligrapher certified by the Japan Educational Calligraphy Federation, and the host of the calligraphy class. Please join us on this experiential tour where you can experience calligraphy, create your own work, and even get professional work. The venue will be a rental conference room near Higashi Ginza Station.

In a small conference room, you will experience the basic techniques of calligraphy under the guidance of an instructor. You will finish by creating 1-2 pieces of work that you can display at home. After the calligraphy experience, you will walk around Oyama Shopping Street, which is 1.2 km long and has over 300 shops and restaurants, and have lunch. Transfer to the train and bus to the Akatsuka area. You will visit the Tokyo Great Buddha, Akatsuka Fudo Waterfall, Akatsuka Botanical Garden, Itabashi Museum of Art, Akatsuka Castle Ruins, and Itabashi Local Museum.

This is an experiential calligraphy class for foreign tourists visiting Japan, business travelers, or foreigners living in Japan. Write kanji with a brush while calming your mind in a Japanese-style room in a Japanese-style private house. We have prepared approximately 30 kanji characters that are popular among foreigners, such as love, dream, mother, father, friend, and flower. If you have any requests for kanji that you would like to write, please let us know in advance and we will prepare a model for you! We receive many requests to write their name in kanji, so please let us know in advance the name you would like to write (only one person) and we will prepare a sample! You can use the name of a family member (only one name) instead of your own! In this hands-on class, you will polish the ink you use by yourself. You can see for yourself that the color of the ink gradually becomes darker. In addition, the tools used in calligraphy, such as brushes, paper, inkstones, and ink, are explained in an easy-to-understand manner using panels with photos. The lesson begins and ends with a seated prayer. We will also explain the etiquette of the zarei in an easy-to-understand manner! Start with basic writing techniques such as vertical lines and horizontal lines, practice the selected kanji on paper, and finally write them on the fan. You can take the fan home with you, so it also makes a great souvenir!

Paint Photo Studio SOYLABO! This is a photo studio where you can enjoy wall painting with paints and experience writing kanji. It is very popular with families and children. You can take home the paint and kanji you have written as a souvenir. Get your clothes and face covered in paint and have an unforgettable art experience! There are also photographers who speak English, so you can rest assured. It is located in Ota Ward, 30 minutes by taxi from Haneda Airport.

A 2-day, 1-night tour of Omikawa-tei, an old folk house with a history of over 150 years since the Edo period, located in Tako-cho, Chiba Prefecture, with overnight stay. On the first day, participants enjoyed sweets and coffee at a cafe in the town, followed by a tour of a Japanese temple and a Japanese sweets making experience. After checking in, guests will enjoy Japanese cultural experiences (tea ceremony, calligraphy, etc.), Tako rice rice ball making experience, and dinner at the accommodation facility, Omikawa-tei. The next day, we will stop at roadside stations and other places while touring the rural scenery of the town.

3 minutes walk from JR Omori Station, Tokyo①A calligraphy experience class will be held in the grounds of Omori Sanno Hie Shrine. In an ancient Japanese-style room, you can write kanji and kana using real brushes, Japanese paper, ink, and inkstones. All tools will be provided here, so please come empty-handed. You can take home the work you have written (if you wish, we will provide a frame and a seal). The instructor is a Bunka Calligraphy Higher Master and also teaches at several calligraphy classes in Tokyo. ②On the second floor of the same building, we hold lessons for the Iwama-ryu Aikido class, and if the time is right, you can also observe and experience it. In addition to physical techniques, there are also weapon techniques (using swords, canes, and daggers). ③In addition, simple tea utensils will be provided upon request, so you can experience the tea ceremony by making your own matcha. ④Nearby is Omori Shell Mound Park, where you can take a stroll and feel the Jomon period. Since it is not a famous Japanese landmark, you can quietly experience Japanese culture in a hidden sacred place that only those in the know know about.
