For calligraphy, you choose your favorite words, characters, or the name of a place that you remember from your travels, and choose your favorite characters, words, and font from several samples. While looking at the sample, the customer writes with a brush. Even beginners can learn to use a brush with a little practice. Seal carving uses a special rubber stamp. It is safe and easy to create. The design is basically your name, but you can choose any shape or object. You can use the seal as a seal for your work in your daily life, on your art work, or on your letters. The calligrapher will help you with how to use it and the design, so you can participate with peace of mind. If necessary, we will give you a simple lecture in Japanese to help you deepen your understanding of characters and words. 3 minutes walk from Skytree and Oshiage Station. Why not try calligraphy in between sightseeing and shopping in Asakusa and Skytree?! This is a private lesson for one group. You can relax and experience Japanese life with your family and friends in a tatami room. First, we will give a brief explanation about calligraphy and tools. Next, you will practice the basic lines of calligraphy on a half-sized piece of paper. After that, you will practice your favorite characters while looking at the model. We have prepared some kanji that are popular with foreigners as models, but if there is a character you want to write, please let the instructor know. Finally, you will create two works using one colored paper and one small colored paper or postcard of your choice. When you finish, take a photo with your work in front of the Hokusai or cherry blossom interior. A souvenir of matcha sweets is included!

By drawing calligraphy or a painting with a brush and ink, you can enjoy a unique Japanese experience. Kakejiku uses techniques with over 1000 years of history to create a work of wabi-sabi that is refined for beauty and preservation. You can choose to make a full-fledged kakejiku or a simple magnetic tapestry, and take home the work you made that day.

3 minutes walk from JR Omori Station, Tokyo①A calligraphy experience class will be held in the grounds of Omori Sanno Hie Shrine. In an ancient Japanese-style room, you can write kanji and kana using real brushes, Japanese paper, ink, and inkstones. All tools will be provided here, so please come empty-handed. You can take home the work you have written (if you wish, we will provide a frame and a seal). The instructor is a Bunka Calligraphy Higher Master and also teaches at several calligraphy classes in Tokyo. ②On the second floor of the same building, we hold lessons for the Iwama-ryu Aikido class, and if the time is right, you can also observe and experience it. In addition to physical techniques, there are also weapon techniques (using swords, canes, and daggers). ③In addition, simple tea utensils will be provided upon request, so you can experience the tea ceremony by making your own matcha. ④Nearby is Omori Shell Mound Park, where you can take a stroll and feel the Jomon period.
