The design is basically your name, but you can choose any shape or object. You can use the seal as a seal for your work in your daily life, on your art work, or on your letters. The calligrapher will help you with how to use it and the design, so you can participate with peace of mind. If necessary, we will give you a simple lecture in Japanese to help you deepen your understanding of characters and words. You can experience calligraphy, a traditional Japanese culture, using real tools. Unlike the calligraphy sets you can buy at shopping malls or schools, we use calligraphy tools procured from traditional calligraphy shops, so it's perfect for those who want to get a taste of the real thing and Japanese culture. This plan supports Japanese, English, Spanish, Italian, and French. Most calligraphy experiences take 60 to 90 minutes, but the JanDara calligraphy experience takes 120 minutes. You can communicate well with other calligraphers. Approximately 10 minutes from anywhere from Haneda Airport, Shinagawa, or Yokohama! We will rent Ota Sangyo Plaza PiO, which is a 3-minute walk from the station. This is a spacious 40 tatami Japanese-style room that can accommodate up to 54 people, where you can sit in a sitting position or sit on a horigotatsu (horizontal kotatsu) and do calligraphy with your feet down. If you are not comfortable sitting up straight, you can stretch your legs and participate in a relaxed state. For those who would like to experience the numbness of their legs while sitting seiza like an authentic Japanese person, we will prepare them so that they can experience it sitting seiza. When deciding which characters to write on colored paper, teach them the Japanese meaning. Creating Japanese names together will be a lot of fun! At the end of the experience, you will eat Japanese sweets. You can take the completed work home with you. At the end, we will support you so that you can write your favorite characters. Please take home your finished work as it is. This is a hands-on class for foreign visitors to Japan to experience the traditional Japanese culture of calligraphy. Located in Jimbocho, the town of second-hand books, this calligraphy class is supported by leading instructors who will help you have a memorable experience of Japanese culture, calligraphy. We will assign kanji to your name and prepare a sample in advance. In this experience, instead of learning the stroke order and strokes, you will relax, enrich your imagination, and stimulate your brain to create your own unique "kanji" art work. First, think of the kanji you want to write and the scenery (picture) that inspires you. If you can't decide on an idea, creative calligrapher Koji Takano will support you. Once you have decided on an idea, use ink and paint to practice color flow and composition. Finally, write it down on a colored paper or fan for the actual performance, and your own art book will be completed.
