As the name of the place suggests, Tsurui Village is the best place to see cranes. You can see cranes in a variety of places, such as cranes landing on pure white snow fields, cranes flying in blue skies, and cranes in the river. Kushiro has many sunny days in the winter, so you can take better photos. In the evening, you can also see the cranes, dyed in the setting sun, flying in formation to their roosts.
