It is a plan to teach the basics (from paddle to takeoff) until you are satisfied! At first, it's natural that it doesn't work well. I don't think it's going to happen as soon as you fall, but let's keep the basics and improve steadily. Each time, select a board according to your progress. Start with a longboard.
