Plan description

The Tazawako Highlands Snow Festival is packed with fun events for both adults and children, featuring snow sculptures created by snow sculptors and art university students. One of these events is the "Mini Paper Balloon Raising Experience," where participants will launch mini paper balloons bearing wishes into the starry sky! The balloons are covered in washi paper and filled with helium gas. LED bulbs are used instead of fire, making the experience extremely safe. You can take the paper balloons home with you on the day. If you arrive by train

・Approximately 16 minutes by taxi (approximately 11km) from the nearest station, Tazawako Station on the Akita Shinkansen. ・Approximately 30 minutes by bus (bound for Kogen Onsen or Nyuto Onsen) from Tazawako Station. Get off at the Tazawako Ski Resort bus stop and walk for approximately 5 minutes.
