Enjoy a piping hot oden course of freshly picked vegetables, all-you-can-drink drinks, and even transportation. This all-inclusive tour will allow you to fully enjoy a winter night in Furano. You will experience digging up cabbages that have been overwintering under the snow at Endo Farm in Nakafurano, a 20-minute drive from Furano. Preserving vegetables under the snow is a method unique to snowy regions: overwintering winter vegetables.

With a lantern in hand, you'll explore the snowy fields at night. Your destination is Endo Farm's cabbage fields under the snow. The dinner, featuring freshly dug-up cabbage, is a classic winter dish in Japan: oden. The soup, made with plenty of winter vegetables and featuring Kamifurano pork sausage handmade by the owner chef of Pension & Restaurant La Collina, is simply exquisite. It's a wonderful dish that will warm you from the inside out. Local wines and sake are also available. With permission from the farmer, try walking through the untouched snowfields.
