Plan description

This is the remains of an explosion crater, approximately 450 meters in diameter and 11 hectares in area, formed by the eruption of Mt. Hiyoriyama. Numerous springs and fumaroles can be found along the valley, and your guide will explain the history and nature of Noboribetsu Onsen while you get a close-up look at the remains of the explosion crater. This is a completely private tour just for you.

Walking Tour: Noboribetsu Jigokudani Course

This course starts from Sengen Park and takes you around Jigokudani and Tessen Pond, where you can learn about the history, nature, and charm of Noboribetsu Onsen. At night, the Jigokudani promenade is lit up, creating a fantastical atmosphere that is quite different from the daytime.
