Plan description

~ A major collaboration between Japan's traditional performing arts "fireworks" and Okinawa's "nature and culture" ~ Ryukyu will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2023 with the theme of "Towards the earliest exciting summer in Japan". Sea flame festival. It is one of the largest entertainment venues in Okinawa, overflowing with originality that fuses fireworks, a summer tradition in Japan, with Okinawan music and culture.

~ 21st century entertainment with the latest technology ~

A dedicated ignition computer controls all fireworks launches. In accordance with the music and production intentions, the timing and location of the fireworks are controlled in advance with an accuracy of 1/30th of a second. As a result, it has become possible to develop detailed and dynamic shows that were unimaginable in conventional fireworks displays.

~"Design Fireworks" Produced by Junko Koshino~

Design fireworks started in 2010 by Junko Koshino, a world-famous designer who was selected as a Person of Cultural Merit 2017. Based on the fireworks sketch drawn by Mr. Junko Koshino, the pyrotechnician of Marutamaya Ogatsu Fireworks Shop, who won the 2016 Macau International Fireworks Contest in the world, creates fireworks.
