Plan description

"Lake Sohara" where the experience is held is small but full of charm. It is a scenic lake loved by photographers.・It is not affected by the wind (few waves, calm, high rate of operation!) ・Motor boats are prohibited (quiet, relaxing and enjoyable! Beginners are also welcome!) Please experience the luxury of enjoying from "from" and "from a lower point of view"! If you're interested, but the threshold is high, please experience it first! Mokumoku Shizenjuku, an official school of the Japan Canoe Federation, has many certified instructors. We will gently teach you how to row from the basics. In addition, in the experience, we use kayaks that are stable and easy to handle even for beginners, so even beginners can enjoy touring on the lake with peace of mind! We have kayaks for 1 to 3 people. We will decide the best combination (boat) according to the number of people and age composition of the application. *Single-seaters are available for junior high school students and above. The only authorized school in the area

Our school is the only canoe school officially recognized by the Japan Canoe Federation in the Urabandai area and Fukushima prefecture, where you can learn how to operate Canadian canoes and kayaks.

The scenery of the trees in the forest surrounding the lake turning yellow and red is a superb view that will make you want to look at it forever. You can also see Mt. Bandai from the lake.

If you arrive by car

From the Ban-etsu Expressway "Inawashiro Bandai Kogen IC" toward Urabandai. Turn right on National Route 115-National Route 459 "Urabandai Seven-Eleven" and take Prefectural Road 2 for about 30 minutes.

If you arrive by train

Take the Bandai Toto Bus from Inawashiro Station on the Ban'etsu West Line and get off at Onogawako Iriguchi. Change to the village community bus and get off at Soharako Iriguchi. About 15 minutes on foot from the bus stop.
