Pacific oysters from Lake Kamo represent the winter bounty of Sado. At Lake Kamo, one of Japan's top 100 scenic spots, it is cultivated with great care for a year. Oysters grown in Lake Kamo are soft and creamy! The peak season is from November to May, when everything gets cold♪ After peeling the oysters from the shell with the help of a fisherman, enjoy your favorite dishes at the Sado outdoor base! !

★☆Experience Details☆★

The guide for the experience is an active fisherman♪ You can enjoy the experience while learning about the history of oyster farming and how people live close to Lake Kamo! The venue, Kamo Lake Fishery Cooperative, is a 10-minute walk from Sado Outdoor Base. After the oyster peeling experience, let's enjoy cooking and eating together at the Sado Outdoor Base! !

Real food while enjoying cooking with everyone ♪

・Can-can-grilled oysters with shell stuffed in a can and steamed ・Fried oysters, oyster hot pot, ajillo, etc. We will prepare cooking utensils and ingredients, so please enjoy cooking in the store! Drinks and alcoholic beverages are also available for an additional fee♪ (Please note that due to the limited number of utensils, not all recipes may be available.)
