Plan description

◆ Visit famous sightseeing spots in Nagasaki with a guide. ◆Convenient gathering at Nagasaki Station. ◆Nagasaki streetcar one-day ticket included! All routes are available. ◆You can choose the start time from morning or afternoon, and the guide language from Japanese or English. ◆ The 4-hour tour visits Glover Garden, Nagasaki Peace Park, Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum, and Spectacles Bridge.

Nagasaki Peace Park

At Nagasaki Peace Park, there are statues that symbolize the spirits of the atomic bomb victims, the love of God who wishes for permanent peace, and the mercy of Buddha. The right hand is said to point to heaven, while the left hand points to "peace" (for Nagasaki's future). His face is neither God nor Buddha, his eyes are lightly closed and he is praying quietly for the 70,000 war victims.

Glover Garden

A must-see spot in Nagasaki! Centering on the former Glover House, the former Ringer House, and the Orso House, which are designated as national important cultural properties, six Western-style buildings from the Meiji period that were scattered around the city were relocated and restored. It is a popular tourist attraction and attracts more than 1 million tourists every year.

Atomic Bomb Museum & Glasses Bridge

The Atomic Bomb Museum exhibits the history of the atomic bombing, including the tragedy of the atomic bomb, the reconstruction of Nagasaki, the history of nuclear weapons development, and the desire for peace without nuclear weapons in an easy-to-understand manner. The Megane Bridge was built in 1634 by Nyojo Zenji, a priest of Kofuku-ji Temple. It is famous as Japan's first arched stone bridge with a length of 22m, a width of 3.65m, and a height of 5.46m to the river surface.
