Plan description

竹内良子さんは、義母の晃子氏(徳島県指定無形文化財)から藍染を継承し、「手を染めずに心を染めよ」という言葉と藍甕を守り、受け継いでいくためにクラウドファンディングで工房を再建しました。染師として精力的に作品づくりを行うとともに、晃子氏の功績を伝える回顧展を開催するなど様々な活動をされています。

体験では、晃子氏が独自に編み出した『型』を使用した「しぼり」という手法を用いて美しい藍染の作品を作ります。緻密に計算された『型』だからこその模様と天然灰汁発酵建てによる本藍染の素晴らしさが体感できます。

他の工房では体験できないしぼり染め

ハンカチやバンダナの染色から次のステップへ、というお客様にも満足の大きめの染色が楽しめます。
