Plan description

We are holding an online tour to learn the wisdom of living in Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture, surrounded by the sea, mountains and abundant nature! This time is the mountain edition! You can make "beeswax wrap" at home while visiting Iwaki's Satoyama. On this tour, we will handcraft 100% natural beeswax wrap using organic cotton fabric from Iwaki, natural beeswax and oil. While traveling around the Satoyama area of Iwaki City, we will ask about the manufacturing process of "beeswax", "nanohana pure oil" and "organic cotton", which are the materials for beeswax wrap, and the thoughts of the producers! Why don't you enjoy learning about earth-friendly life through "making beeswax wrap" that you can easily make at home and that is useful for your life? ___________________ What is beeswax wrap? ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ A wrap that can be used repeatedly by soaking cloth with beeswax or vegetable oil. Beeswax has antibacterial and moisturizing effects, which makes foods last longer and can be wrapped with confidence. After using it, wash it with water and let it air dry to use it again. Since it can be used repeatedly, it is an eco-friendly wrap that saves money and is kind to the earth! If you warm it by hand, the beeswax will soften and wrap the bowls and ingredients. ________________________________________________________________________________________________ Center Yunodake Sanso (Address: 2-1 Yunodake, Jobanfujiwaramachi, Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture) Capacity: 20 people (10 people online / 10 people at the venue) Tickets: There are two types: "online participation" and "local participation".
