This plan includes kimono rental, dressing by a hairdresser, and hair styling. One of the symbols of Noshiro City, which prospered through the lumber industry, is the former restaurant Kaneyu, which was built using an abundance of natural Akita cedar and is registered as a national tangible cultural property. A hairdresser will dress you in your kimono and style your hair. Enjoy taking photos in the building and strolling around the town in a beautiful kimono. Noshiro City is home to Noshiro Technical High School (now Noshiro Science and Technology High School), which is said to have been the model for the high school that appears in the film, and many basketball fans visit on a pilgrimage to the holy land of basketball.
