"Enjoy the scenery of the UNESCO World Heritage Shirakami-Sanchi" Walk the mountains of Noshiro in full pilgrimage attire with Noen Haruharu, a guide from Ryusenji Temple! You can hear about history and faith from your guide, and about trees and flowers from Noen Haruharu. Experience Buddhism by walking through the mountain scenery of the four seasons. Pick seasonal wild vegetables, cook them yourself, and eat them. Enjoy seasonal wild vegetables with rice balls, pickles, and miso soup. This is a food culture experience in Yurihonjo City, Akita Prefecture, and a walking tour of the Ushu Kameda Domain and Kameda Castle Town. In the morning, you will make traditional Hina mochi (rice cakes) at a community center in Kameda Town. Knead rice flour and wrap it in red bean paste, then stamp the mochi with Domyoji powder colored with food coloring. Put the Hina mochi you made in a steamer and once it's complete, enjoy it during your lunch break. You can bring your own lunch or order a bento. In the afternoon, you will take a walking tour of the town under Kameda Castle. The course is from Amasagi Village to Kameda Castle Ruins to Amasagi Shrine to Myokeiji Temple to Mogami Town to Ryumonji Temple to Amasagi Village. Walk with a guide through the streets built in the Edo period and enjoy the history and seasonal scenery!

Experience archery at a temple in Noshiro City at the foot of the Shirakami Mountains, a World Natural Heritage site. It is an experience that even beginners can do. After changing into a kimono, you will listen to an explanation of the history, spirit, and tools of kyudo at a quiet private dojo at Keisho-ji Temple near Noshiro's famous Kaze no Matsubara. After that, the instructor will carefully teach you how to do archery. The bow will be drawn while receiving advice for about an hour, and finally a competition will be held by all participants. The instructor is the chief priest of Keisho-ji Temple and a veteran with over 50 years of archery experience.
