Our ancestors were shinobi samurai who started to serve Tokugawa Ieyasu (the first shogun of the Tokugawa Shogunate) in 1582. The clan served the shogunate for 265 years. In 1868, the clan declined the invitation from the Meiji Government and became independent. We are the only lasting shinobi clan in Japan. We invite you to come to our clan dojo where real master practitioner and professional interpreters take charge of all workshops and seminars. This is good for people who want to get a deeper insight into our ninja and samurai cultures . We still handcraft our tools and weapons. Feel free to ask any questions as we have kept our shinobi samurai tradition for over 450 years.Our ancestors trained locals and their servants to be shinobi.(Ninja is a new word used in movies. Shinobi is the word which was commonly used in the feudal times,)The term "shinobi samurai" is not well-known, but you can be one of the few who knows the history and shinobi philosophy and mindsets. This plan is centered around Nakanoshima Park. The bicycle ride takes about an hour. After the bicycle tour, you will actually wear a kimono and experience being a samurai or ninja. Enjoy Osaka by bicycle! A local guide born and raised in Osaka will guide you to fun and unique spots. We will not only provide you with sightseeing, but also a special experience where you can enjoy the city of Osaka with all your senses. The bicycles used on the tour are from "PALMGARAGE", which was founded in 1976. With a comfortable ride and stylish design, the journey itself is fun.
