Finally, a new sensation activity "SANDBOX" has opened on Izu Oshima! A sand bath using natural stone ceramic balls. (Also called a sand bath) A little different from a sauna, this sand bath uses "ceramic beads" that have excellent detoxifying effects. Ceramic beads are made by processing Amaterasu stone into ceramic balls with a diameter of 3 mm, baking them at a high temperature of 1000℃, and spreading them in the bathtub. Sand baths are attracting attention in the medical field for their ability to activate cells, improve skin beauty and weight loss, and relieve stiff shoulders, joint pain, and atopic dermatitis. Just 15 minutes in the bath will expel a large amount of sweat and waste products. Please experience the unique sensation of a sand bath, with your whole body pulsating.

You can experience a tent sauna, SUP, and BBQ, and this is the only sauna facility in the Kanto region that uses a lake as its water bath. Jumping into the lake and feeling the coldness and water pressure of the mountain water with your whole body, lying on a SUP and bathing in the fresh air floating on the water's surface is something special. The plan includes sup, so you can get ready while lying on the water surface. *Since we only rent tent sauna equipment, customers are responsible for preparing the tent and starting the fire themselves. Chairs inside the tent and chairs for outdoor bathing are available. *Please use the Shiromaru Town Parking Lot (Times Parking). *5 minutes walk from JR Shiromaru Station. This is a public bath culture experience tour for foreigners visiting Japan. We will introduce you to the culture of public baths at Kogane-yu, located in Kinshicho, Sumida Ward. On the day of the event, we will provide an explanation about public bath culture for about an hour and a half, followed by a bathing and sauna experience. ~ Experience flow ~ 9:30 Sento culture experience At the changing room or lounge, we will provide detailed information about public bath culture, bathing methods, the background of Kogane-yu's renovation, and information on Kogane-yu's facilities. We will also have a simple quiz on the day. There are many stories that can only be learned at Koganeyu! 11:00 Bathing/sauna experience After receiving the public bath culture experience, let's try our hand at actually taking a bath. You should be able to learn about public bath culture firsthand. 12:00 Dismissal time is an estimate. They will each be disbanded. After bathing and experiencing the sauna, enjoy free time to your heart's content at Kogane Kitchen and craft beer.
