Plan description

This is a public bath culture experience tour for foreigners visiting Japan. We will introduce you to the culture of public baths at Kogane-yu, located in Kinshicho, Sumida Ward. On the day of the event, we will provide an explanation about public bath culture for about an hour and a half, followed by a bathing and sauna experience. ~ Experience flow ~ 9:30 Sento culture experience At the changing room or lounge, we will provide detailed information about public bath culture, bathing methods, the background of Kogane-yu's renovation, and information on Kogane-yu's facilities. We will also have a simple quiz on the day. There are many stories that can only be learned at Koganeyu! 11:00 Bathing/sauna experience After receiving the public bath culture experience, let's try our hand at actually taking a bath. You should be able to learn about public bath culture firsthand. 12:00 Dismissal time is an estimate. They will each be disbanded. After bathing and experiencing the sauna, enjoy free time to your heart's content at Kogane Kitchen and craft beer.

At the beginning of the tour, we will explain the public bath culture using a specially made picture-story show in the changing room or lounge. number stand A bandai bar lit by a large lantern that symbolizes Koganeyu. We have a beer bar and DJ booth where you can enjoy delicious beer and music after taking a bath. All in-store BGM is made from analog records.

Bathhouse We have three temperatures available for everyone, from small children to those who love boiling water.

sauna Autorolly sauna (men's bath)...Domestic Hiba wood is used for the wood. In addition, the sauna is lined with maifan stone and uses radiant heat and auto-roll humidity to make you sweat. When you exit the sauna room, you will find a cold water bath in front of you with a depth of 90cm and a temperature of 15℃.

Dressing room The changing room has an eye-catching large noren curtain designed by artist Iichiro Tanaka. The dressing room is stylish, bright, and clean, and the wash basin and hair dryer corner are also clean and easy to use.

Kogane Kitchen Lounge We offer a wide variety of menus such as "Lamb Lamb Keema" and "Lamb Lamb Burger" made with lamb meat. On the day of your visit, please take your time with your family or yourself after taking a bath or experiencing the sauna.
