Limited to summer, this is a nightly beetle and stag beetle hunting tour, aimed at small children. We will mainly hold the event on weekdays when there is less competition. We apologize for the late hours, but we would be happy if we could help you make summer memories with your children. We look forward to your early reservations. ▼Experience content On the day, we will visit several points and introduce tips for observation. We will observe beetles and stag beetles. You can see cicadas emerging, long-eared beetles, stag beetles, brown beetles, and on rare occasions, raccoon dogs. It is safe at night as there are few wasps. The number of observations varies depending on the weather, but generally ranges from a few to a few dozen at most, with fewer observed before and after rain. Please understand that we cannot commit to the number of observations due to the natural environment. All the insects we observed will be released locally, and everyone will be given the same insects that they have captured in the local areas (mainly Ibaraki and Tochigi prefectures). ▼About gathering・Customers by car or on foot: Please come directly to the point at 7:00 pm *Details will be provided only to guests who have made a reservation ▼Dispersal ends around 8:30 pm, and you can return by train (JR) . This tour will take care of your children while you enjoy a BBQ from morning until late afternoon, and you can experience rummaging around in the nearby river and searching for stag and rhinoceros beetle larvae in the forest. Parents start getting ready from 10am and enjoy a leisurely BBQ until noon, while children join after 12pm and stay until 1.30pm. After 1.30pm, you can go to the nearby Kuroyu Onsen and Yumori no Sato hot springs (admission fee included). Or you can rent an electric bicycle for free and take a tour around Jindaiji Temple. Children can be looked after from 10am to 12pm and from 1.30pm to 4pm. Due to the natural environment, it may not be possible to catch them after rain. Due to many requests from early elementary school students and preschoolers, we will be changing the start time to 8:00 or 9:00 a.m. ▼Schedule/Meeting We will meet at the meeting point at 4am in the morning. After explaining the rules for the day, we will move to 3 to 4 points by bicycle. We will observe and capture fish until 7am.
