This plan will be experienced at "NOIR CAFÉ", an atelier surrounded by plants owned by Miki Takeuchi, a lecturer of the Sanbon Oeda school of incense art and a flower designer. Many people ask about the art of incense art, and one of them is the ancient group incense called "Genjiko". In all schools, "Genjiko" is still practiced today. The design of the answer (listening name) based on the 54 plasters of the Tale of Genji is famous as "Genjiko no zu", a traditional Japanese pattern that is used in various traditional Japanese patterns such as lacquerware and kimonos. In this experience, you will be able to experience a digest of what Genjiko is like at an incense gathering, and how to listen to the scent and give an answer. Sitting upright is difficult, and incense gatherings are difficult to get into. However, this plan allows those who are interested in what Genjiko is like to fully experience it. After enjoying Genjiko, you will create your own fragrance like the aristocrats of the Heian period when the Tale of Genji was written. As the Tale of Genji also depicts fragrance-themed scenes, aristocrats would burn original fragrances in their kimonos. In this plan, you will blend your own original natural fragrances and make a sachet. The completed sachet will be placed in a special paulownia box designed and arranged by top designer Miki Takeuchi and filled with dried flowers associated with the Tale of Genji, and you can take it home as a special incense burner. After the experience, we will prepare edible incense. We will offer you medicinal tea and incense sweets. Please spend an elegant time in an extraordinary time warp for both body and mind.
