Whether you are a beginner or a child, you can easily enjoy the painting experience! In this plan, you can freely draw letters and designs on the finished lacquer chopsticks with 5 colors of natural lacquer. It is also recommended as a present for your loved ones. In addition, in the store that is easy to enter, we have everything from affordable lacquerware to full-fledged lacquerware. It is a lacquer painting experience where you color the lacquer tray on which the sketch is drawn and sow gold powder. Since we use substitute lacquer, there is no need to worry about getting sick, and anyone can feel free to join us. Time required will take about an hour and a half. "Studio Seikan" is a facility with a workshop, shop and cafe, where you can visit the manufacturing site of Yamanaka lacquerware, experience woodturning, shop, and enjoy cafe and sweets with lacquerware. This course includes a workshop tour (with explanation) - making a vase - lacquerware experience at the cafe (one drink included). Lacquerware craftsmen work here every day. In this experience, you can observe them up close and learn about lacquerware production. The staff will explain it in an easy-to-understand way. Next, you will make your own original lacquered chopsticks at the place where the craftsmen actually work. Think about the design of the chopsticks and paint them with real lacquer. You can experience authentic lacquer painting. The lacquer craftsmen will teach you carefully, so you can make them yourself until they are completed. You will surely be satisfied. It's fun. After that, you can enjoy drinks made with lacquerware at the cafe and taste sweets. Please relax and enjoy the lacquerware experience. Please feel free to ask the staff or craftsmen if you have any questions. Lacquer can cause a rash, but we check beforehand and use gloves to prevent it from coming into contact with the skin, so even small children can experience it.
