Takachiho Gorge Takachiho Gorge is a gorge where pyroclastic flows from the Aso volcanic activity flowed in a ribbon along the Gokase River and cooled rapidly, creating beautiful cliffs with columnar joints.

Afterwards, you will explore Takachiho Gorge, a beautiful valley formed by an ancient volcanic eruption.
