Visitors: Want to experience snow without skiing? This tour is specially prepared for skiers, so if you want to enjoy the snowy scenery or participate in snow activities, we recommend that you choose another package. Beginners: This trip includes activities for skiers, and ski equipment rental and lift tickets are provided. There are no courses for beginners, so please learn basic skiing skills in advance. About an hour's drive from Sapporo city. This ski resort boasts some of the best powder snow in Hokkaido and a vast slope. It has the longest operating period of any ski resort in Sapporo, and is open from mid-November to early May every year. It has seven courses that can be enjoyed by beginners to advanced skiers, and a snow park where you can play with sleds and tubes. The beginner-friendly "Rinkan-Merhen Course" is a long course with a total length of 3.6 km and a high level of difficulty. For mogul lovers, we recommend the downhill course with a maximum slope of 30 degrees, and for snowboarders, the board park with jumps such as table tops is recommended. If you are returning via the Minami-ku route, you can also soak in Jozankei Onsen on the way back. Beginning with a fun time playing in the snow at Bibai Snowland, you'll experience the retro atmosphere of the steam-powered mechanical clock at the Otaru Music Box Museum. Afterwards, enjoy a leisurely stroll around Otaru city and lunch, before finally being taken to a world of delicious sweets at Shiroi Koibito Park. It is located near Lake Toya and was formed about 10,000 years ago. White smoke still comes out of the area about 450 meters in diameter, and no grass grows. There is a strong smell of sulfur. Noboribetsu Jigokudani was named for its hell-like atmosphere. ▼Oyunuma is a crater formed by the eruption of Mt. Hiyori. Sulfur springs at about 130 degrees gush out from the bottom of the pond, and are the source of the main hot spring inns in Noboribetsu City. There is an observation deck here, where you can look at the steaming lake in front of you, or walk to the lakeside to experience it up close. Walking around the lake, you can not only smell the sulfur, but also see the source of the hot springs, which are always smoking and bubbling, and the yellow sulfur balls floating on the lake surface are particularly eye-catching. ▼The outdoor foot bath experience requires walking a long mountain path, which is still relatively primitive, but that is probably to protect the original ecosystem.
