Experience matcha green tea with Kutani ware in a tatami room in a townhouse full of culture. The current owner, Mr. Yukio Uchida, takes over the pottery shop in his parents' house, and he himself creates works by overglaze painting as a Kutani ware artist. In addition to being able to see and purchase Kutani ware at the shop on the 1st floor, the atelier on the 2nd floor of the machiya-style pottery shop is open to the public, allowing visitors to see Mr. Uchida painting. We also serve matcha green tea in Kutani tea bowls made by the artist. Come and experience the world of Kutani ware, which flourished in an elegant culture.

In a 100-year-old old folk house, you can wear hakama and kimono and take Instagrammable photos. Especially the view from the corridor on the second floor is the best. The mountain in the background is Arashiyama, and the Oda River flows in front of it. You can see the scenery like a painting.
