Walking through the secondary forest affected by the exploitation, you can see the majestic Shiretoko mountain from the natural grasslands, and from the observation deck you can see the Flepe waterfall flowing down from the cliff. Wild birds that can be observed for each environment, such as forested wild birds such as yellowfish, grassland birds such as white-faced red wild birds, sea birds such as sea bass, are different during walks. This is a trek that goes all around the Shiretoko Five Lakes designated as a special reserve of Shiretoko National Park, UNESCO's World Natural Heritage Area, including elevated wooden paths. This is Japan's first revolutionary Forest Adventure experience in which a licensed leader guides the area where brown bears live. In addition to the lake, you can observe seasonally changing nature, such as sika deer, red fox, wild birds, alpine plants, and autumn leaves. Because they are not fed, all creatures they encounter are real wildlife. Please contact us as it may be possible to respond to times that are not in the selection column.

You can experience silent Shiretoko here even in the crowds of summer vacation and autumn consecutive holidays. It is a course to go through the pioneering site and the forest and go to see the groundwater falls pouring into the Sea of Okhotsk. If it is fine, you can see the 200 m high cliff walls leading to Shiretoko Cape. It is a course that goes to see the falls of the cliffs like "Falls Falls", but there is no boardwalk, and overcoming logs, it is a somewhat wild place.

We are a group of 5 pax and we had a great walk with Kanako san as our guide. We saw bear claws mark on the tree, bear paws print, deer skull and things we would have miss if we were to walk on our own. A deer suddenly ran towards us and stayed with us during our walk and Kanako San told us it not a good sign as the deer might have been spooked by a bear. It was a beautiful and exciting walk for us. Highly recommend Kanako san for your guided walk.
