Easy access with Sapporo Station departure and arrival. We will guide you to two recommended observation spots around Lake Utonai, a treasure trove of wild birds. This tour is for birdwatching beginners. Enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime encounter with seasonal birds while walking through the lakeside wetlands and forest edges! We will give you a gentle lecture on how to use binoculars, how to find birds, and how to take photos while walking through the field. Even beginners can participate with confidence. The path is basically well-maintained, so even small children (5 years old and over) can participate. There will be a lunch break along the way. This tour is recommended for those who want to start birdwatching and want to observe at a different spot every once in a while. This guided tour can be given in English.

Departing and arriving from Sapporo Station! This one-day hiking tour is easily accessible from central Sapporo and takes you up Mount Tarumae, towering over Shikotsu-Toya National Park. Starting at the 7th station, the "Mount Tarumae Hut Course" takes you above the tree line with a mere 100m ascent, revealing expansive views. Stepping into the outer rim, a lava dome suddenly appears. The powerful plumes of smoke rising from the volcano offer a truly immersive experience of the power of nature. After circling the outer rim, you'll return to the starting point via the Flower Garden Course.
