This is a plan to cycle on a "fat bike", a bicycle designed for riding on snow. A fat bike is a bicycle with thick tires designed for riding on snow. This is an E-BIKE cycling tour by Shinano Discovery. You will enjoy an exhilarating ride on a state-of-the-art electric-assist MTB through the traditional rural landscapes of Lake Nojiri, Kurohime Highlands, and the old Hokkoku Kaido road, connecting farm roads, forest roads, and roads that have been used by villagers for a long time! This is a one-day cycling tour that will allow you to fully experience the nature, history, and culture of Myoko-Togakushi Renzan National Park, including the view of the Hokushin Five Mountains that spreads out before your eyes, the history of Lake Nojiri and the excavation of Naumann's elephant fossils, and a course that follows an irrigation channel that was built 350 years ago. There are also plenty of adventure elements, such as downhill on unpaved roads! While cycling, pottering the classic spots in Karuizawa (slow cycling). If you rent a Bicycle rental in front of Karuizawa Station, first go to "Kumobaike", the most scenic spot in Karuizawa. After getting off the bicycle and taking a walk, you will pass through the wooded villa area and head to the former Karuizawa. While visiting the small alley of the old alley of Karuizawa, you can visit the St. Paul's Association, the show memorial chapel, We will guide you to classic spots such as the Karuizawa Kai Tennis Court, which is famous for the romance of His Majesty the Emperor and Empress. At the brewery, we'll explore the story and tradition behind this premium sake, connecting centuries of craftsmanship, heavy snowfall, and pristine water. We'll enjoy a delicious meal featuring onigiri made from local rice (vegan option usually available ). On the way back, we'll stop at a traditional four-season Japanese park. We'll return to the station by 15:00, giving you time to explore the local onsen or head back to Tokyo. Starting from Echigo Yuzawa Station, just 70 minutes from Tokyo, we'll cycle through Yuzawa village and explore Japanese parks on our way to Daigenta Canyon with ease on e-bikes. At Daigenta, we'll enjoy views of rice paddies and mountain peaks, take a break at the lake, and then ride downhill through the forest and old village. An optional lunch at a local cafe is available. We'll return to the station by 13:00, giving you time to explore Yuzawa's onsen town.
