This is a rental bicycle for sports bikes (E-BIKEs). [Can accommodate up to 50 bikes! ] [It can be folded, so you can take it in a car or train! ] *Bicycle bags are a paid service. ★Kyoto has narrow roads, so it is difficult to travel by car, bus, or taxi. With a bicycle, you don't have to wait or spend time in traffic jams! You can go wherever you want stress-free, so bicycles are recommended for sightseeing in Kyoto! ★It's okay even if you don't ride bicycles much or are not confident in your physical strength! Our shop offers ultra-high-spec E-BIKE bicycles. It is a bicycle with a small tire size that is easy to maneuver, so it can be easily ridden by people of all ages, even if you are new to sports bikes. With a maneuverable bicycle, you can easily ride the narrow roads of Kyoto. The motor is a high-power unit made by Bosch. So even those who are not confident in their physical strength can ride long distances with peace of mind. ★And the body of the vehicle is well-maintained by our professional mechanics, so you can ride it with confidence. ★The rental location is close to Kyoto Station, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and Fushimi Inari Shrine, so you can visit many famous places in just a few hours. If you go a little further, you will also find Arashiyama, Nijo Castle, Heian Shrine, Ohara, the Imperial Palace, Kinkaku-ji Temple, and Ginkaku-ji Temple. ① Rental (from 9:00): After checking in, you will be given an explanation of how to operate the bicycle. This is a self-cycling tour that takes you to the Miho Museum and Shigaraki Pottery Village. With a special map in hand, enjoy a moment of wellness for both body and mind with art and cycling. Electrically assisted bicycles make it easy to ride up hills. Even beginners can feel at ease. This is a course that takes you to the very popular Miho Museum and the Shigaraki Pottery Village, one of the six ancient kilns in Japan, where you can experience art. The tour is self-cycling, and you will head to your destination with a special map in hand. The area around the course is full of nature, such as beautiful rivers and mountain trees, and is relatively cool even in the hot summer months. After being impressed by the art and beautiful scenery at the Miho Museum, it is a good idea to take a bike ride around the Shigaraki pottery. Try to find your favorite pottery. We recommend taking the Shigaraki Kogen Railway on your way back. You will be seen off by the Shigaraki raccoons and the wonderful view from the train window. This tour does not include a guide, but we will support your trip by messaging app or phone. If you let us know in advance, you can drop off the bike at the Miho Museum or along the course. (There is a bus from Miho Museum to JR Ishiyama Station) Main stopover spots: Misuji Falls, Miho Museum, Shigaraki Pottery Village Meet at 9:00am Recommended age: 12 years old and above (height 145cm and above) *About cycling support ・On this tour, we will provide support via line and phone for any problems you may have while cycling. ・If you stop cycling midway, we will come and collect your bicycle free of charge.
