We will guide you through a long-established sake brewery in Hida Takayama, a traditional area with 400 years of history, thanks to its excellent water, rice, and climate. There are seven breweries clustered within 200 meters of Takayama city, but records show that 300 years ago there were as many as 56 breweries in the same area. You can enjoy both an explanation of the townscape of Hida Takayama, which has such a unique history, and a tour of the inside of the brewery.
