Take a tour with your guide through the quaint street lined with Japanese old houses! Masuda Town has prospered as a merchant town since the Edo period. Because this town has been the transportation hub, a variety of agricultural products gathered here. Merchants amassed wealth in their fields and created mansion towns. Inside these mansions, "Kura'' or a storehouse was built by wealthy merchants to store documents and household furniture. This storehouse is still inhabited and rare even in Japan. Feel the elegance in the detailed decorations such as white plaster, polished black plaster and lacquered interior. The townscape is home to many historic buildings of this area. Masuda town was designated as a National Preservation Districts for Groups of Traditional Buildings in 2013. Find the storehouses of each mansion with its unique structure and decoration. In this guided tour, you will be able to visit two to three mansions with storehouse while receiving an explanation. English speaking guide accompanies you.

[June to November] An experiential activity where you canoe around Lake Shirakawa, surrounded by magnificent nature. Enjoy plenty of time on the lake with this two-hour experience tour! [June to September] Enjoy a SUP experience tour in Lake Shirakawa surrounded by nature. Even if it's your first time, you can rest assured as the guide will support you from how to ride. Enjoy 2 hours of relaxation surrounded by nature! We will give you a lecture on how to ride, so beginners with no experience or friends can try it safely and enjoyably. One of the fun things about SUP is losing your balance and flipping over in the water, but don't worry, we will guide you according to the weather and temperature. Be sure to bring a change of clothes in case you get wet. Have fun playing energetically and happily in the hot summer on the cool lake in Yamagata. Dogs are welcome! This is an activity you can enjoy with your beloved dog. There is a direct parking lot, so there is no waiting time. "Surikamigawa Dam" is the source of "Fukushima Water", which has won the highest gold award at the Monde Selection for four consecutive years. Please join us for an activity of kayaking around the lake, which has high water quality and is nurtured by beautiful nature. A kayak is a small boat for one or two people that moves forward with a paddle with blades on both ends. It is a water activity that you can enjoy freely controlling because you sit inside the boat and the center of gravity is low and close to the water surface. Since it is an experience in an artificial dam lake, there is little risk of being swept away, and since motorized boats, fishing, and swimming are prohibited at Surikamigawa Dam, you can enjoy kayaking touring with peace of mind. Of course, the guide will teach you how to ride and paddle, and will accompany you during the tour, so even first-timers and children can participate with peace of mind. [Weekends only] The upper reaches of Lake Nagai Hyakuaki, a canoe field that feels like a hidden place, even though it is not far from the city. We will guide you on a half-day tour that will lead you into nature both physically and mentally. The meeting place, Nogawa Manabikan, is a 10-minute drive from Nagai City. After checking in and using the restroom, it is another 10-minute drive to the boarding point. As you paddle through the lake surrounded by mountains from the start, multiple waterfalls will bring you the pleasant sound of water and coolness. As you proceed along the waterside that winds left and right while looking at the vibrant broadleaf mountain ranges and rock faces, you will soon arrive at the entrance to Mibuchi Valley. After offering prayers to nature and the gods, you will continue to canoe between the steep granite cliffs, and you will find yourself in a different space that is cut off from the outside world.
