This is the first program for enjoying the mountains of Yamanashi Prefecture, based at Ichikawa Park MTB Field in Ichikawamisato Town. This is a premium mountain bike guided tour for beginners, families, and children to learn the basics of mountain biking from scratch and learn how to ride mountain bikes safely and enjoyably on mountain trails.

This trekking tour explores a picturesque landscape rich with history and culture, brimming with authentic Japanese culture. Accompanied by a dedicated guide, you'll walk from village to village, occasionally even entering villagers' homes, allowing you to enjoy warm interactions. This tour stops at a special spot overlooking the Hoshitoge Rice Terraces, one of Japan's most famous rice terraces. Enjoy a leisurely stroll from an area off-limits to regular tourists. [Schedule] Walk approximately 3.5 hours from Hokuhoku-Oshima Station to the Hoshitoge Rice Terraces with your dedicated guide. Meet your guide at Hokuhoku-Oshima Station at 9:15 AM for morning itineraries (6:30 AM from July to mid-September), or 1:15 PM for afternoon itineraries (3:30 PM from July to mid-September), and begin your trek. *Please inquire about the meeting time. The old trail has some ups and downs, but you'll enjoy beautiful mountain views as you trek. Along the way, your guide will share stories about the history of the old trail and local life. You'll also have the opportunity to interact with the local villagers. You may even have the opportunity to enter a home and hear stories of the village's past and history, as well as life in a snowy country. Along the way, you'll take a break at a spot off-limits to regular tourists, offering a panoramic view of the Hoshitoge rice terraces. We'll provide you with seasonal snacks traditional to the region, as well as delicious tea and coffee. You can relax and enjoy the scenery in a private setting. After the trek, you'll be driven to Matsudai Station or Hokuhoku Oshima Station. *Only Japanese and English are available.

A local guide will show you hidden gems, including backstreet art and architecture unique to a snowy region. [Tokamachi: A Town Walk in Tokamachi, a Heavy Snow Region and Kimono Town] Tokamachi is Japan's leading kimono-producing region. Explore the history of the town and its unique architecture, focusing on the past and present of its architecture, as you walk with a guide, learning about the town's history and the unique structure of a town unique to one of Japan's heaviest snowfall regions. Example: Meet at Tokamachi Station. See architecture and "ganki" (traditional Japanese-style walkways) that reveal life in a snowy region. Explore the backstreet art! Stop by a local Japanese confectionery shop for a break. See the stone carving monuments scattered along the greenway before heading to the Tokamachi Museum and Information Center. After the tour, shop at Cross Ten, a roadside station with a wide selection of local products and souvenirs. Fuji. It is home to many franchise stores of famous Japanese brands. Luxury brands such as Gucci and Prada have a wide range of styles at very low prices. If you want to enjoy shopping, this is a place you can't miss. *You can choose to get off at the outlet mall and stay there or go to the next attraction, the hot spring. ▼Option 2: Day trip hot spring bathing experience (about 2 hours) If you would like to take a hot spring bath instead of the outlet, we have a shuttle service available and will take you to the hot spring "Kinohana no Yu", which just opened at the end of 2019. The name of the hot spring comes from the goddess "Kinohana Sakiyahime" enshrined at Mt. Fuji and Fuji Sengen Taisha Shrine. You can enjoy an overwhelming view of Mt. Fuji from the hot spring, and you can enjoy a large open-air bath while looking at Mt. Fuji with high-quality hot spring water from the private source. Why not try a new adventure in one of Japan's most scenic spots, Shosenkyo? This area is crisscrossed with the approach to Kanazakura Shrine and daily life roads, and there is an old mountain path called "Mugizaka Road". This is a new mountain bike tour that uses this road as a stage, where you can put your mountain bike on the Shosenkyo Ropeway and enjoy a trail ride from the top of the mountain. Once you get on the ropeway, it's only a 5-minute ride to the summit station. From the top of the mountain, you can enjoy a spectacular view of Mt. Fuji and the Southern Alps. Experience the ancient roads that connect the rich nature and history with ease and exhilaration on the latest E-MTB (electrically assisted mountain bike). In addition to mountain bike skill training and route guides, our staff who are familiar with the local area will carefully explain the forests, history, and local information according to your request.
