Join me on a guided tour of Daigenta in Yuzawa, Niigata. Starting from Echigo Yuzawa Station, just 70 minutes from Tokyo, we'll cycle through Yuzawa village and explore Japanese parks on our way to Daigenta Canyon with ease on e-bikes. At Daigenta, we'll enjoy views of rice paddies and mountain peaks, take a break at the lake, and then ride downhill through the forest and old village. An optional lunch at a local cafe is available. We'll return to the station by 13:00, giving you time to explore Yuzawa's onsen town. The tour starts at 9:30 and covers about 15km.〜Flow of experience〜9:30 DepartureWe will depart from the east side of Echigo Yuzawa Station10:00 Japanese parkWe will stop for a while, enjoying the four seasons Japanese park of Yuzawa. We may see some Koi fish swimming in the pound.11:00 Daigenta lakeWe will have a small break to enjoy the breathtaking view that Daigenta Lake offer.13:00 ReturnWe will be back at the train station to finish the tour, you will have time to enjoy the local food from one of the many restaurants. 〜Schedule〜【07:30】Take the train from JR Tokyo Station Marunouchi North Exit【08:00】Take the bus from in front of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Shinjuku West Exit【10:00】Itinerary 1: Mt. Fuji 5th Station (about 40 minutes) (This itinerary is from April 26th to November 30th of the same year)Itinerary 2: Arakurayama Sengen Park, a popular check-in spot and a great location for a panoramic view of Mt. Fuji (about 90 minutes) (Itinerary is from December 1st to April 25th of the following year)【11:30】Enjoy the sweet spring water at Jiuzhaigou and Oshino Hakkai at the foot of Mt. Fuji【13:00】Choose between outlet shopping and hot spring bathingOption 1: ▼ Gotemba Premium Outlets (about 2 hours, starting October 10th, 2023)Gotemba Premium Outlets is a shopping mall with a panoramic view of Mt. Fuji. It is home to many franchise stores of famous Japanese brands. Luxury brands such as Gucci and Prada have a wide range of styles at very low prices. If you want to enjoy shopping, this is a place you can't miss. *You can choose to get off at the outlet mall and stay there or go to the next attraction, the hot spring. ▼Option 2: Day trip hot spring bathing experience (about 2 hours) If you would like to take a hot spring bath instead of the outlet, we have a shuttle service available and will take you to the hot spring "Kinohana no Yu", which just opened at the end of 2019. The name of the hot spring comes from the goddess "Kinohana Sakiyahime" enshrined at Mt. Fuji and Fuji Sengen Taisha Shrine. You can enjoy an overwhelming view of Mt. Fuji from the hot spring, and you can enjoy a large open-air bath while looking at Mt. Fuji with high-quality hot spring water from the private source. [15:00] Return to Tokyo [17:00] We arrived at the Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation entrance at the Marunouchi North Exit and Shinjuku West Exit of JR Tokyo Station, and finished our fun day's journey! ▼ Self-pay: Day trip hot spring bathing experience: Estimated bathing fee: 1,600 yen on weekdays, 1,900 yen on weekends and holidays (1,700 yen on weekdays from September 1st, 2,100 yen on weekends and holidays). If the facility is closed, you can enter Gotemba Fuji Hakkei (1,000 yen for a 3-hour ticket) or Gotemba Municipal Hot Springs (500 yen for a 3-hour ticket). This is a shared tour, and participants come from all over the world.
