The fish is simply delicious! This is a fishing pond. You can enjoy fishing in a natural environment using meltwater from the Zao mountain range. The five ponds have water so clear that you can clearly see the patterns of the fish. The stream that runs through the premises plays a beautiful sound. You can grill the fish you catch yourself over charcoal. In addition to charcoal-raised char, yamame, and rainbow trout in Zao, there is also coho salmon, a specialty of Miyagi Prefecture. A wide range of fish are released, from small ones with a body length of 10 cm to ones over 70 cm and 5 kg. You can come empty-handed, and even a complete beginner can catch an average of six fish. Everyone, regardless of gender, children or adults, can enjoy the experience. The speciality pork soup and rice balls are included.

[Tohoku's first] Lake Towada smelt fishing dome boat plan. This plan allows you to board a heated dome boat and enjoy 2.5 hours of leisurely fishing on the snowy lake. It is less affected by wind and snow, has a toilet, and even beginners can participate empty-handed with peace of mind. In addition, staff will provide detailed instructions on how to fish and attach bait, and will also give advice on the optimal depth of the water! All rental equipment (1,500 yen fee) is well-maintained and easy to use. You can even take photos of the smelt you catch on the spot!

In the winter, you can enjoy ice fishing for smelt around Lake Ogawara in Aomori Prefecture. Lake Ogawara is the number one smelt resource in Japan! The Anenuma smelt fishing spot is connected by a waterway, and the fish are dense and the water is shallow, making it very easy to fish. On this tour, we will prepare everything for you, including digging holes with a drill, setting up and taking down tents, and preparing your fishing gear. Anyone can participate empty-handed. After receiving a lecture on the precautions and how to fish, you can start fishing right away, so even beginners can feel at ease. You can deep-fry and eat the smelt you catch. Freshly caught smelt is exceptionally delicious! Once you're done fishing, you can go home without cleaning up. The tour generally runs from mid-January to the end of February.
