We have a wide variety of haori, including plain ensemble kimonos, striped, rippled, and latticed patterns. You can mix and match them freely. Men can create their own fashion, just like women. Plan description When a man wears a kimono, he looks even more dignified. By tying the obi, the lower body tightens, and the back naturally straightens, improving posture. At Asakusa Aiwafuku, we are particular about how to dress in a masculine kimono so that men can wear it in the most stylish way in Asakusa. There are two points to keep in mind for this. 1. The length of a man's kimono The beauty of a man's kimono is determined by its length. It is said that a stylish kimono should be "long enough that the hem just covers the ankles when the obi is tied." We have a wide selection of men's kimono sizes, from S, M, L, 2L, 3L, 4L, and 5L. It can also be worn by people with a sturdy build, such as rugby players, who are over 180 cm tall. We also accommodate small people who are 150 cm tall. 2. Stand out from the crowd with a men's haori. (We cannot rent haori in the summer because we provide yukata.) Men's haori looks twice as cool when combined with a kimono. Asakusa Aiwafuku has a wide selection of patterned haori, which is very popular among fashion-conscious people. ★We offer a yukata rental experience for a limited time from mid-June to mid-September. Please use it for a stroll around Asakusa in the summer. <Process from visit to departure to return> ① Kimono selection Please choose your favorite from the wide variety of kimonos and yukatas (summer). Even if you are new to kimono, our staff will help you choose a kimono, so please feel free to contact us. * Dressing and hair styling take about 30 minutes. The time it takes to choose a kimono and change your luggage varies from person to person. ② It will not fall apart and it will not be uncomfortable to wear it, as it will be dressed by a professional dresser with plenty of experience! * If you use a yukata, the fabric of the yukata is thinner than that of a normal kimono, and it is easy to see through. We provide undergarments, but your back and buttocks will still be visible, so we ask that you wear plain, skin-colored underwear, such as white or beige, on the day of your visit. ③ Choose geta sandals We also have a wide selection of accessories and Japanese goods, such as bags and sandals. Our staff will also suggest items that go well with your kimono, so please feel free to consult with us. ④ Departure Please be careful and have a nice trip. *We will keep your luggage (except valuables) during the rental service. ⑤ Return/return When you return, please change into the clothes at our store and return them. We look forward to seeing you again!

Daisuke Michigami, a roofer who has inherited the family business (president of Daiei Ceramics), continues to take on the "indefatigable challenge" of unraveling the "wisdom," "skills," and "teachings" of his predecessors that are embedded in each and every "Awaji tile," a traditional industry that has a history of 400 years, and passing them on to the future. What is the reason for continuing to take on new challenges? We will get to the bottom of the secret. Daisuke Michigami, a roofer, will talk about the charm of "tiles" created by the soil of Awaji over time, the thoughts he puts into making each and every tile, the scenery created by the layers of "tiles," and his commitment to the "beauty" of Japanese architecture, all at "Gallery Doza," a space completely wrapped in soil and tiles. Awaji tiles were hit hard by the unfounded rumor that "the damage caused by the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake was so great because the roofs were tiled." Even in an environment where the survival of Awaji tiles is still in doubt, Michigami has found great potential in "Ginfurubi" (tiles that are new yet somehow nostalgic, baked to a vintage, antique texture), and has been bringing out new charms of Awaji tiles that are different from anything that has come before. Now that his thoughts have taken shape, tiles are connecting people with each other, and Japan's good old traditional beauty is being reevaluated. Tile maker Michigami Daisuke's "insatiable challenge" will continue. After listening to his story, you can enjoy a space surrounded by earth and tiles that you would never believe is inside a tile factory, a view of the townscape that has flourished due to tile production since the Edo period, and Michigami's passion for "beauty" at "Gallery Doza," where you can feel Michigami's passion for "beauty." You can pretend to be a tile craftsman and try making your own "one-of-a-kind tile coaster," one of the new possibilities of tiles. You can choose from a variety of Japanese pattern designs that are prepared in advance, as well as original designs. Try making a rich work full of your sensibility. Experience schedule9:00~ (20 minutes) Message from tile maker Daisuke Michigami (President of Daiei Ceramics Co., Ltd.) - "Creating the future of tiles" - He will talk while showing slides at [Gallery Doza].9:20~11:20 Experience making your own original tile coaster that is one of a kind in the world *You can start at any time between 9:00 and 14:00.

A private trekking tour with a guide around the sights of Mt. Nokogiri, a lesser-known mountain on the Boso Peninsula. This is a special tour that allows you to enjoy the sights of Mt. Nokogiri, a unique mountain where the remains of the stone-cutting industry that supported the region and the Buddhist world of Nihon-ji Temple are back to back, all in one day! We start by walking through the streets of Kanaya, which flourished as a stone-cutting industry from the Edo period to the Showa period, and then head to the Nokogiriyama Ropeway Station. After entering the grounds of Nihon-ji Temple and worshiping the "Hyakushaku Kannon," we trace the scenery and history of the remains of the quarry, which once flourished as a stone-cutting industry and now stands like an ancient ruin. After that, we proceed while listening to the guide's explanations about the sights such as the famous photo spots "Peeking into Hell" and "1,500 Arhats," and the tallest "Great Buddha" in Japan (as a seated statue and rock-carved Buddha), and finally descend the mountain by ropeway and disband. *There will be a lunch break along the way.
There is much to enjoy: natural landscapes, human interaction with the environment, religious customs, flora and fauna, history, and much more. Interesting anecdotes and views as well as a few scary moments and many photo opportunities are part of the enjoyment factor. The guide's English was fine and she was knowledgeable enough about each topic to keep the participants interested. She was attentive to my needs and accommodating to my humor.

"Ko-Iga" is the highest peak of pottery in history, known as "exceptional beauty" in the world of tea ceremony, mainly during the Sengoku period, when Sen no Rikyu, Oda Nobunaga, and Toyotomi Hideyoshi were active, and the Azuchi-Momoyama period. Experience Awaji Iga making, a reproduction of the Ko-Iga making used in tea ceremony at that time, with one-on-one guidance from a craftsman who hand-made the largest six-tiered climbing kiln in Japan. Ko-Iga is fired at the world's highest firing temperature of 1400℃ for several days, which is unparalleled in the world, so the shape is distorted and sometimes it breaks when firewood is repeatedly hit against it, but the absolute presence and scenery that surpasses this are known as exceptional beauty. (*250℃-450℃ in a bonfire, 1500℃ in a blast furnace) Awaji Iga aims to revive Ko-Iga and values the invisible process and value, so it does not use modern tools such as burners and thermometers, or glazes that glassify the surface. During the Sengoku period, wars were taking place all over Japan, but no one really wanted war, and tea ceremonies served as a place for secret talks to avoid war. It is said that Ko-Iga was used as a special tool to hold a special tea ceremony, which could avoid war if successful, or lead to war if unsuccessful. At Tsurugi Kiln, you can experience the revival of Ko-Iga, which was used in tea ceremonies that determined history and people's lives and deaths, and the making of Awaji Iga pottery. *The actual experience is limited to the forming process. During the four days and nights of the kiln firing in February, you can visit the impressive site at any time. Please visit Awaji Island three times to enjoy the forming process, the kiln firing in February, and the collection after April. ■Itinerary 1. Decide what to make 2. Knead the clay 3. Shape, make strings, hand-form, and make balls *The actual experience is limited to the forming process. During the kiln firing in February, you can see the items you made yourself. *As the items are fired once a year during the kiln firing in February, they will be handed over after spring.

Just by living, people accumulate dirt and impurities at the end of each day. It would be nice if we could wash them off ourselves every day, but for busy modern people, it is not easy. Mount Koya, which spreads out in a mountain basin surrounded by peaks at an altitude of about 1,000m, is a sacred place of Shingon Esoteric Buddhism founded by Kobo Daishi Kukai 1,200 years ago. This plan involves climbing together to the top of Benten-dake, the watershed of Mount Koya, and performing a purification and purification prayer in front of the shrine. (Depending on the weather, etc., it may be performed at a different shrine.) A special human figure will be prepared. Usually, the Great Purification is performed at the end of June and the end of December, but for our purification and purification plan, a specialized prayer leader will be available all year round when visitors are in a good mood. We will offer our original incense amulet after praying for it. Why not spend a refreshing time with the goddess of water (Benzaiten)?
