Noshiro City in Akita Prefecture is a city at the mouth of the Yoneshiro River, and has a port that is convenient for transporting felled Akita cedar. Lumber is exported domestically and overseas, and it has been called "the No. 1 wooden city in the Orient". Even today, there are many wood-related companies in the city. You will assemble wooden "Kumiko parts" from scratch. There is some fine work, but the work of assembling them together is addictive! The finishing process using a file allows you to feel the pleasant scent of wood. *Wood material: Japanese cypress You can choose from two types of "strap" with a diameter of about 5.6 cm and "coaster" with a diameter of about 10 cm (additional 500 yen).
