Why don't you make a nice cup as a memory of Kyoto sightseeing? This plan is characterized by the fact that you can easily experience it for about 20 minutes. You can feel free to experience making memories between sightseeing.
As someone who has never tried pottery before, the process was easy to understand. A teacher helps you individually every step of the way and shows you techniques to use, as well as explaining what the techniques do. They are able to teach in English well, and also take pictures of you. You also have some customizable options on what you create. The process did not take long at all, so it is a good activity for getting out of the sun or rain for a little while on a busy day. I personally enjoyed it greatly and look forward to having my cup be shipped to me once dried and glazed.
