予定通り始まったが、体験なんでということを口にしながら、細かい説明もなく、ガラス選んで花選んで入れてくださいだけ。入れたら、イメージなんでと言いながら一旦出され、じゃ下から砂を選んで入れてもらってから、花を入れていきましょと。花も後出しで、ここのもいいですよと。説明は先に言うべきでは。雑すぎる! やってる最中は、他の体験の方もいたせいかもしれないが、ほぼ無関心。あげくは、話しかけても、対応なし。1人で雑な対応しなければならないなら、もう1人入れるべき。もう行きたくないし、おすすめもしたくない。

This was a really fun experience. You can make either a mug, bowl or tea cup out of clay. You knead the clay with your hands rather than shape it on a potter’s wheel. The teacher was very patient and encouraging despite our clumsy efforts. You can personalise the object by adding your name and other designs like flower imprints or stripes. You can also choose the colour of the glaze. Firing the object will take a few days, but they can post the finished product to you even if you live outside Japan. I highly recommend this activity.
